More importantly, “Oh boy! Just 14 days and counting!” until we will be gathering at Camp Casey, to submerge ourselves in Scottish tunes, courtesy of Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas!
If you haven’t registered yet, please do so quickly! We do have to turn in meal counts so Camp Casey can start making up their wonderful dining plans!

Ceilidh news: Rumor has it that this year, we are going with a groovy theme, harkening back to the late 70’s… Yes, you know it as DISCO! So bring your big hair, your cool bell bottoms, funky shirts, hats, and anything with that 70’s bling!!!

It’s not too late to get your registration in, for what promises to be total submersion in musical sunshine this coming January! The official deadline is December 20th and the workshop commences just a short month after that- January 17th. Tickets for the January 19th Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas concert are available to the public through Brown Paper Tickets. The concert will be held in Auditorium A, Ft. Casey in Coupeville. Doors open at 2:30, concert begins at 3:00 p.m.
Rumor has it there’s a new CD just waiting to go home with you, too!

Northwest Scottish Fiddlers’ Youth band, along with Guinevere Saenger, performed at the Kirkland Performing Arts Center this past weekend, on Nov. 1st and 2nd as a part of the Keith Highlanders’ Pipe Band annual concert. They played their own sets, and solos as well. All went well, it was hard to say who enjoyed it the most, the audience, or the performers!

Playing at the concert, the trio, along with Guinevere, were a big favorite of the night!
Final number- Sam, Vienna and Flora got to “tune up” and play with the pipers!
Calum MacKinnon, our music director, will be playing at the Bellingham Masquerade Ball, Saturday, Oct. 26th, with Ryan McKasson, Andy Imbrie, and Ginny Snow! The Grand March starts at 7:45, with dancing underway shortly after! Spectators can join in the fun for a mere $15. It’s at the Majestic Ballroom– how much fun- come enjoy great music and watch the dancers! Amazing!!!
